About
About Anne Counselling
Anne Counselling was created to provide accessible, down-to-earth emotional support for families and young people. Many clients prefer counselling that feels personal, warm, and grounded without long waiting lists or complicated referral processes. My sessions are designed to be calm, structured, and focused on real-life improvements clients can use immediately.

About Me - Counsellor
My name is Anne. I am a qualified practitioner with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through anxiety, grief, family challenges, emotional difficulties, and complex life transitions.
My counselling style is a blend of empathy, clarity, and practical guidance. I believe in meeting people exactly where they are without judgment and creating a space where they feel safe to open up, explore, and grow at their own pace.
I have a strong foundation in mental health support, trauma informed care, crisis response, grief and loss counselling, and child/adolescent emotional development. My experience also includes:
-
working with culturally diverse clients
-
supporting parents with behaviour, communication, and school related concerns
-
guiding young people through anxiety, identity challenges, self esteem issues, and emotional regulation
-
providing grief, loss, and transition support
-
offering short term, solution-focused counselling
-
delivering care that emphasises self-awareness, resilience, and emotional wellbeing

In addition to English, I can also offer sessions in Tamil and Malay when needed, allowing clients from multicultural backgrounds to express themselves more comfortably.
Above all, I work with kindness, respect, and the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.
